AL AIN · TUTORING

A tutor who showshis working.

BrightPath is Omar’s one-man IGCSE and SAT tutoring practice in Al Ain. We built him a parent portal that answers the question parents are too polite to ask: is this working?

POSSIBILITY STUDY · 20

Every parent wants a progress report. Every week.

A possibility study. We built this concept end to end as a working prototype, inspired by the real operational bottleneck of a neighborhood tutoring practice. The same system can be commissioned, customized, and shipped to your business in 9 weeks.

Sound like your business? Tutors. Coaches. Any one-person education practice that needs to look like an institution. The pattern is the same.

We have already imagined this. Let's explore yours →

SECTION 01 · THE TUTOR

Eight years
in a classroom.
Six at a kitchen table.

Omar Al Mansouri taught maths and physics at an Al Ain international school for eight years before going independent. He charges three times what the school paid him. He earns his fee one parent at a time.

Parents pay for results they cannot see in real time. Most tutors disappear into the lesson. Omar wrote his lesson summaries by hand for years. We turned the habit into a system.

The BrightPath parent portal logs every lesson with a topic tag, a mood note, a homework checklist, and a progress score. Parents see the picture without ever having to ask, “how is it going?”

“I do not tutor children. I report to parents.”

SECTION 03 · THE PROGRAMS

Three subjects.
One tutor.

Omar only teaches what he can teach well. No franchise model. No subject he is winging. Three subjects, all to A-grade standard, all evaluated weekly.

SECTION 04 · THE PARENT PORTAL

The answer
before the question.

Every lesson logs a topic, a mood read, a homework status, and a score update. Parents open the portal once a week and see the picture without ever sending a polite WhatsApp.

  • Weekly auto-summary in the parent’s preferred language
  • Score trend chart per subject, anonymised against the cohort
  • Lesson-by-lesson mood and homework history
  • Quiet flags when scores stall, sent only to Omar first

SECTION 06 · THE BUILD

A tutoring practice
that runs itself.

We took Omar’s handwritten habit and turned it into a system. The parent portal does the talking. The auto-summary email does the reassurance. Omar gets back the hours he used to spend writing reports and replying to status checks. The roster stays full. The renewals are silent.

  • Brand identity: serious, academic, gold-on-navy restraint
  • Parent portal: per-lesson logging with topic, mood, homework, score
  • Auto-summary engine: weekly email in the parent’s preferred language
  • Score-trend charts anonymised against a cohort baseline
  • Programme structure with waitlist and trusted-tutor referral fallback
